2009 CHICAGO SOUL MUSIC FESTIVAL
We are very excited to invite you to the Chicago Soul Music Festival 2009. The 3-day outdoor music festival is set to take place June 26, 27 and 28th at Union Park-blocks away from the Oprah Winfrey's Studios-produced in cooperation with Alderman Burnett and the Mayor's Office of Special Events. The gates will open 5pm-10pm on Friday June 26th. Then 12pm-10pm Saturday June 27th and Sunday June 28th.
Recognized as a "Top 50 Fab Fests" 2009 by Chicago Tribune/RedEye Daily, and one of the more sought after events in the city; The Chicago Soul Music Festival will capture the essence of the City's musical history, to catapult Chicago as the destination for soul music along with it's rich traditions-both nationally and internationally.
This Festival will provide Chicago residents and it's visitors with high quality entertainment that features a concert series, upscale food vendors, artisans, fashion market, fashion shows, children's interactive area, and much more. The event will also showcase the city and surrounding neighborhood with increased traffic and visibility.
In Chicago's notable West Loop is the ideal place to host the Chicago Soul Music Festival. Boasting a diverse population and an eclectic mix of shops, dining, and leisure activities, the West Loop is the place to be this June!
